Joy Wargo

Student Support Concierge

Joy grew up on a family farm in South Carolina. She attended Liberty University, earning an undergraduate degree in Business Management and an MBA with Leadership concentration. Joy is passionate about serving others. This is evidenced by over 20 combined years in hospitality, working in both the hotel industry and, most recently, at the welcome center for Liberty University.

In 2016, Joy began teaching college courses as an adjunct professor. This continues to enrich her professional career as she works with each new generation of learners. In her new role as Student Support Concierge at Magellan, Joy will use her career experience and skills to guide students in their degree completion plan and assist them along their journey towards graduation. Her love for people and her heart’s desire for them to succeed make her the ideal candidate for this role.

Joy is married to Todd, and they live in South Carolina. They have three grown children, one of whom is married. She enjoys learning, gardening, reading, puzzles, and traveling with her family.
