Hannah Robinson
Associate Director of Learning & Development
Hannah Robinson grew up in a variety of places but claims Texas as home. While living in San Antonio, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Art History from Trinity University. Her love of education became apparent as she looked through the undergraduate course catalog and wanted to take all of the classes. From biology to studio art and accounting, the course catalog contained a world of possibilities, and Hannah dove into as many of those classes as she could.
Even more than information and ideas for their own sake, Hannah loves connecting people to ideas, which led her to a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She worked as a public librarian for several years and has experience as a professional writer.
“I’ve worked in higher education and education-adjacent fields because I’m passionate about connecting people to the high-quality information they need. Designing courses with subject matter experts is a natural extension of my background in library science. Both fields focus on how people interact with information and how to make that connection as seamless as possible. I feel fortunate that I get to help make the course catalog a happy adventure for other students.”
Hannah lives in Central Virginia with her husband, children, dog, and chickens. She welcomes book recommendations and loves to cook and eat good food.
