Tara Green

Instructional Designer

Tara has worked in education since 2016 as a Volunteer Language Arts Teacher. She has taken on various roles throughout her career, including ESL Teacher, Curriculum Designer, and Learning Resource Specialist. She has spent five years working in Language and Culture overseas, which involved significant aspects of instructional design, such as technical writing, assessment development, and technology adaptation. Additionally, Tara has a passion for teaching and finds fulfillment in knowing that students can fully grasp the material presented through the courses she collaborates on.

Tara is an enthusiastic Instructional Designer who enjoys diversity in life. She can often be found hiking mountains, trying her hand at a new hobby, or finishing a good book with coffee. Always looking forward to learning something new, Tara plans to continue developing her knowledge of instructional design tools and is interested in picking up a new language this year.

“Education has been transformative, guiding me on an incredible journey over the past five years. The opportunities I encountered while traveling were more than I could have imagined on my first day in English 101. Watching the sunset in Ayutthaya, running from wild boars on Inari Mountain, and even stumbling through my first-ever teaching lesson was all thanks to that decision to enroll. My only goal in my career thus far has been to make sure my students feel just as safe and unlimited as I did in that first semester of college.”
